*We have flexibility with this service start and end dates to accommodate schedules. In addition, we’ve extended this program this year from 10 to 16 rehearsals so those that have vacations can still be fully engaged.

These groups (referred to in past years as Adaptive Rock Band) are designed for individuals with developmental disabilities. These groups are facilitated by our board certified music therapists. This group is focused on creating a musical product for a showcase. Ensemble members work together to learn music together all while working on non-musical skills. The therapeutic focus of each series is to develop relationships with peers, build and practice social skills, and learn functional music skills. Each ensemble will have a showcase and a product (video, recording, album art) to take home. No prior music education or training is required.
