Kristin N. Veteto MM, MT-BC - Owner

Kristin received her bachelors degree from Drury University in music therapy and continued a graduate degree in music therapy at Colorado State University.  Kristin furthered her training in Neurologic Music Therapy (fellowship) and Music Therapy Assisted Childbirth.  

Kristin has experience working with a wide variety of populations since beginning her education and clinical work including: developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, geriatric population including persons with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, hospital populations (pediatrics, obstetrics, neonatal, oncology), rehabilitation, mental health (inpatient and outpatient), and behavior health.

Kristin's love of music began at a very early age when her father would sing and play with her and her sister.  A childhood full of piano lessons sparked a deep love of music that flourished in high school and college.  Kristin spends her days with her family walking, swinging at the park, and playing games.  Kristin's favorite dessert is tiramisu!


Rachel Hickam MM, MT-BC

Rachel received a Bachelors of Arts in music (piano and percussion) degree from College of the Ozarks and a Master's in Music Therapy from Drury University. Rachel continued her education and received her Music Together certification in 2016.  

Rachel has experience working with persons diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Lesch-Nyhan, Down Syndrome, Wold-Herschorn, Fragile X Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury, developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, and persons with visual and hearing impairments.  Rachel has an abundance of experience working and collaborating with a treatment team including teachers, paraprofessionals, SLPs, OTs, PTs, Behavioral Consultants, Visual Consultants, etc.

Rachel has experience teaching piano, accompanying for individuals and groups, and performing in choir, orchestra, and community band.  Rachel enjoys playing classical piano music in her free time and spending lots of time with her family.  Rachel's favorite dessert is cheesecake!


Holley Pering MT-BC

Holley received her Bachelors degree in Art (art education) from Humboldt State University and an equivalency degree in music therapy from Drury University. Holley furthered her education and completed training in Neurologic Music Therapy. 

Holley has experience working with K-12 students with various diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional and behavioral disorders, Down Syndrome, visual and hearing impairments, and other cognitive, physical, and learning disabilities. Holley also has experience providing adaptive art/music services to children and adults with special needs. Holley is passionate about using music and the arts to promote learning and growth while enhancing the lives of others. 

Holley is active in the local music scene in Columbia and enjoys playing with various groups around town. Holley spends her free time biking, playing music, and spending time with her dog.  Holley's favorite dessert is a chocolate chip cookie sundae!


Amanda Turnbull MME-MT, MT-BC

Amanda received a Bachelor's degree in Music (voice) from Truman State University and a Master's of Music Education in Music Therapy from the University of Kansas. Amanda has a wealth of experience working with persons with mental health needs including major depressive disorder, bi-polar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, substance/chemical abuse and dependency, anxiety and panic disorders, personality disorders; as well as, physical and learning disabilities.  

Amanda also has experience working with persons with severe and profound medical and developmental conditions in a school setting.  Amanda utilizes a wide variety of strategies including creative arts music and art to address client needs.  She has an abundance of experience working on a treatment team with social workers, medical and education professionals, and families.

Amanda is originally from rural Missouri and has a passion for expanding services to rural communities.  Amanda spends her free time with her husband, two children, and extended family.  Amanda's favorite dessert is homemade ice cream and wedding cake!
