Kristin N. Veteto MM, MT-BC - Director/Music Therapist

Kristin is a board certified music therapist. Kristin received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Drury University in 2010 and her Master’s Degree at Colorado State University in 2013.  Kristin furthered her training in Neurologic Music Therapy (fellowship), Music Therapy Assisted Childbirth, Birth Music Consultation, and Pre and Postnatal Music Therapy.  

Kristin has experience working with a wide variety of populations since beginning her education and clinical work including: developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, geriatric population including persons with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, hospital populations (pediatrics, obstetrics, neonatal, oncology), rehabilitation, mental health (inpatient and outpatient), and behavior health.

Kristin's love of music began at a very early age when her father would sing and play with her and her sister.  A childhood full of piano lessons sparked a deep love of music that flourished in high school and college.  Kristin spends her days with her family walking, reading, baking, and playing games.  Kristin's favorite dessert is tiramisu!

Elizabeth Shain MME, MT-BC, NICU-MT - Clinical Supervisor/Music Therapist

Elizabeth is a board-certified music therapist with 14 years of experience as a clinical supervisor, contracted clinician, program developer and as a vital member of a treatment team.

Eliabeth completed her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy at Drury University in 2006 and her Master's degree at the University of Kansas in 2011. She also completed her certification as a NICU music therapist (NICU-MT) in 2020.

Elizabeth has worked in a variety of settings, including: medical (pediatrics, oncology, bone marrow transplant), psychiatric, early intervention, private practice, NICU, and neurologic rehabilitation. She has experience working with all ages and has gained experience in orff-based music therapy, medical music therapy, and trauma informed approaches. 

Elizabeth grew up playing music at her local church and spent Saturdays listening to 50s and 60s music with her dad, who remembers every life event by relating it to a song. She loves drawing and crafting with her two children and renovating her home with her husband. Elizabeth's favorite dessert is coffee ice cream!
