WHo is qualified to practice music therapy?

A music therapist is one who has

  1. completed a degree in Music Therapy from an accredited university

  2. completed a six month internship at an approved internship site

  3. passed the national board certification exam through CBMT

  4. maintains their certification (MT-BC) with continuing education every 5 years
